Not an even split across the clock — a night courier's day. Asleep at dawn, coffee at ten, feeding the rooftop cat in the afternoon, shouldering the delivery strap at nine in the evening.

A sky that actually moves

Twelve sky paintings around the clock cross-fade into one another, so 18:40 is genuinely the 18:40 sky rather than a "dusk" preset that snaps on the hour.

An ambient mode that was designed, not dimmed

Most faces fade out and look broken when the screen sleeps. This one becomes a single cyan outline of Rei and the parapet on pure black — about two percent of pixels lit, easy on the battery, and still worth looking at.
